Hardwood and Engineered Flooring Adhesives

All stocked hardwood and engineered flooring adhesives are LEED-qualified, contain no VOCs, are approved for use with radiant heated floors, and have no flash time. Spread rates, recommended trowels, approved subfloors/floor finishes, and more detailed technical information can be found in the individual technical data sheets.

STAUF SMP 960 3-in-1

  • Polymer-based wood flooring adhesive
  • Suitable for use with any width engineered wood
  • Suitable for use with up to 7” wide solid wood
  • Moisture and sound barrier in one step
  • Contains a clip-on #12 trowel in every pail
  • IIC rating up to 74 dB
  • STC rating up to 72 dB
  • Can replace double glue down
  • Can be used as a moisture barrier
  • Freeze/thaw stable
  • Will not etch the floor finish

STAUF PUM 950 Power-Mastic

  • Urethane-based wood flooring adhesive
  • For use with any width engineered wood
  • For use with up to 7” wide solid wood
  • Has the strength of a urethane but cleans like a polymer
  • Does not contain isocyanates
  • Very high shear strength
  • Can be used as a moisture barrier *
  • Freeze/thaw stable
  • Will not etch the floor finish

*#12 clip-on trowel must be purchased separately if being used as a moisture barrier.


STAUF PUM 955 Ultra-Nail

  • Urethane-based wood flooring adhesive
  • For use with any width engineered wood
  • For use with up to 7” wide solid wood
  • Exact same adhesive as PUM 950 but packaged differently to be used for glue assist installations
  • Has the strength of a urethane but cleans like a polymer
  • Does not contain isocyanates
  • Very high shear strength
  • Freeze/thaw stable
  • Will not etch the floor finish

STAUF SMP 920 Contractor Polymer

  • Polymer-based wood flooring adhesive
  • For use with any width engineered wood
  • For use with up to 3” wide solid wood
  • Can be a moisture and sound barrier in one step *
  • IIC rating up to 74 dB*
  • STC rating up to 62 dB *
  • Can replace double glue down *
  • Can be used as a moisture barrier *
  • Freeze/thaw stable
  • Will not etch the floor finish

STAUF SMP 925 Poly-Link

  • Polymer-based wood flooring adhesive
  • For use with any width engineered wood
  • For use with up to 3” wide solid wood
  • Exact same adhesive as SMP 920 but packaged differently to be used for glue assist installations
  • Freeze/thaw stable
  • Will not etch the floor finish

STAUF TGL 810 Tongue & Groove

  • PVA dispersion-based wood flooring adhesive
  • For use with any width engineered wood
  • Superior bond strength
  • Excellent spread rate
  • Applies easily
  • Resistant against aging
  • Allows normal dimensional changes in wood flooring

STAUF R 701 Xtrem-Link

  • Two-part urethane resilient flooring adhesive
  • For use with; LVT, VCT, rubber flooring, sports flooring, linoleum, underlayments, cork flooring, synthetic turf and
  • Clean alternative to two part epoxy adhesives
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • Must be installed wet
  • Permanent bond
  •  Up to 100% RH

STAUF D737 High-Tack

  • LEED qualified
  • contains no chlorinated solvents
  • contains no solvents
  • contains no VOC
  • certified “green”
  • certified “very low emission”
  • nonflammable
  • ozone friendly

  • Applicable to LVT, VCT, Carpet Tile, Sheet Vinyl, Linoleum, Cork, and Rubber*

 STAUF LVP777 Pro-Lux

  • Universal flooring adhesive
  • For use with; LVT, VCT, sheet vinyl or linoleum (homogeneous or foam backing, structured or rubber backed), carpet (felt, fiber, jute or woven vinyl backed) and most underlayments
  • Can be installed wet or pressure sensitive (see technical data sheet)
  • Flashes quickly
  • Can be installed over a non-porous sub-floor
  • Can be installed over cutback mastic (see technical data sheet)
  • Up to 99% RH

STAUF PSA 832

  • High performance pressure sensitive adhesive
  • For use with; LVT, VCT, sheet vinyl (fiberglass reinforced), carpet tile, carpet cushion and a lot of underlayments
  • Tenacious bond
  • Long working time
  • Can be rolled on for carpet tile installation

Mounting Adhesive, Primer and Wood Floor Repair Kit:

STAUF M400 Endura-Tac

  • Premium universal flooring adhesive
  • Moisture cured urethane
  • Most commonly used for flooring accessories like reducers, t-caps, stair nosings and cove base
  • Fast grab and less slippage
  • Resistant against aging
  • Remains elastic
  • Waterproof when cured
  • Freeze/thaw stable
  • Will stick most things to most things

STAUF AQP 200 Eco-Prime

  • Acrylic-based primer
  • Increases the bond between subfloors and floor finishes
  • Use prior to cementitious or gypsum-based leveling compounds
  • Penetrates deep and leaves a rough texture to assist in adhesion
  • Spreads easily
  • Excellent coverage
  • Dries very quickly

IKF100

  • Wood flooring repair kit
  • Fills voids, hollow spots and popping under engineered or solid wood flooring
  • Kits contain; 1 quart of urethane based adhesive, two syringes, four dowels, two drill bits and two small cups
  • Designed to repair voids caused by various reasons such as; uneven subfloors, improper curing of adhesive, open times prolonged, improper trowel usage, water damage, dimensional stability of wood flooring
  • Freeze/thaw stable
